For one day...

"Anyone can carry his burden, however heavy, until nightfall. Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all that life really means."
-Robert Louis Stevenson

Look What Providence Has Gone and Done...

If "...something you feel distinctly before God is His will for you to do, never do it on the impulse of that feeling. If you do, you will end in making difficulties that will take years of time for you to put right. Wait for God's time to bring it round and He will do it without any heartache or disappointment. When it is a question of the providential will of God, wait for God to move."
-Oswald Chambers

"...the oddest thing- the way Providence manages..."

and...

"...a blizzard's the idea: pour down all the snow in stock, turn loose all the winds, bring a whole continent to a stand still: that is Provdence's idea of the correct way to trump a person's trick...
-Mark Twain

"Wouldn't a mere simple request from God to trust Him be sufficient? Is it absolutely necessary for Him to yank out of sight whatever we most prize, to drag us into spiritual traumas of the severest sort, to strip us naked in the winds of His purifying Spirit in order that we should learn to trust? But I am overreacting..." (in my opinion, she is telling the truth, it often seems that way when we are in those severe tests of trust that seem to be... is this wrong to say?... too severe... but, yes, maybe we are overreacting. Yet, only the Heart knows it's own pain...)

and... oh,...

"Look what Providence has gone and done..."
-Elisabeth Elliot

"No matter how..."

No matter what decision you have to make, God is still SOVEREIGN.

No matter how hard it is, GOD IS STILL GOOD.

No matter how many unanswered questions you might have, GOD KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS.

No matter how lonely you might get, GOD WILL ALWAYS BE THERE.

No matter how torn and broken your heart is, GOD STILL HOLDS ALL THE PIECES.

No matter how hard it is to fling yourself completly upon Him, with all your cares, HIS ARMS ARE STILL WIDE OPEN.

No matter how fearful and full of doubt you are, God can still give you FAITH and bring you PEACE.

No matter how high the billows get, He's still THE CALMER OF THE SEA.

No matter how many times your Heart falters and fails, HE STILL LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.

He is such a sufficient Saviour for any situation. Trust Him, dear reader. Remind yourself of His promises. "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee:". He is faithful.

Beautiful Ending...

These are the lyrics to one of my most loved songs, Beautiful Ending, by BarlowGirl. I will also put their music video at the end of this post for you all to listen to. What a beautiful message. I know this has become my heart's prayer lately. This song seems to have been the theme of my walk with Him these, oh, last six months. The Lord has really impressed the message of the song upon my heart in that spanse of time through various trials, circumstances, tests... He has truly given me a brokeness for the truth of this song... a BEAUTIFUL ENDING... God, let nothing take that from me. Help me to see You in everyday life, living and walking by Your side until the end. Your Love is so beautiful, Lord, let me live there, rest there, until I come to rest in You completely. O Lord, at the end of it all I want to be in Your arms

"Oh, tragedy has taken so many, Love lost cause they all forgot who You are. And it scares me to think that I would choose my life over You, oh my selfish Heart divides me from You, it tears us apart...
So tell me, what is our ending? Will it be beautiful, so beautiful?

Oh, why do I let myself let go of hands that painted the stars, and holds tears that fall? And the pride of my heart makes me forget it's not me but You that makes the heart beat. I'm lost without You, You're dying for me...

So tell me, what is our ending? Will it be beautiful, so beautiful? Will my life find me by Your side?
Cause Your Love is beautiful, so beautiful.
At the end of it all I want to be in Your arms, at the end of it all I want tot be in Your arms, at the end of it all I want to be in Your arms, at the end of it all I want to be in Your arms...

So tell me, what is our ending? Will it be beautiful, so beautiful? Will my life find me by Your side? Cause Your Love is beautiful, so beautiful..."

Lord, give me a beautiful ending. Keep me near You, in Your Love, until that day.

Here is the musc video. Please watch it with an open heart and a prayer God would break your heart as well for the truth of this song.

Pictures from our last trip...

We took a lovely trip as a family to Steamboat Rock State Park in Central Washington a few weeks ago. I was inspired by the scenery that I had no idea exsisted in Washingon-- the red coloured mountians overgrown with sage brush and wildflowers, and yet dotted here and there with clusters of evergreens and lakes. It looked like a replica of the Grand Canyon, on a smaller scale, with characteristics of Western Washington. Beautiful. I felt very blessed as I realized God gave it to me for my pleasure, and as He brought verses to mind because of the scenery, that gave me direction and assurance in needed areas. I can only say that I felt deeply that God used His creation to remind me of His word, and speak to my heart. I took a morning walk along the water's edge, and another in the evening, and was able to shoot some photographs of the lovely view. I thought I would post my favorite scenery photoes (and a few of the photoes of the children and I) from the trip here for you all to see. Any of you artsy, lovely photographers, please give me your advice and comments on the photoes. I would love to learn a lot more on photography, someday up-grading to a professional level of camera, but while I am learning with my digital any advice on handling it/lighting tips, etc. would be helpful! Enjoy!

Daddy took the photoes of Janie, Samuel and I, of course. :) I hope you all have a lovely evening!
